About us
Our passion at Heal with Nutrition is to investigate and address the root cause of imbalances in the body.
We will help you understand the importance of nutrition and how it can positively or negatively influence your quality of life.
The key to our success is the holistic approach we offer. We will support you through your nutritional journey to achieve your goals; these can be weight loss or gain, improved overall health or helping address a pre-existing condition. We can also teach you how to use natural, home remedies to help prevent and treat seasonal illnesses and ailments.
We work on a one to one basis and we will happily treat adults, children or the whole family.
We love inspiring people and helping them find the right food for them, a regime that will support their individual state of balance and happiness.
Healthy food is something to be enjoyed not endured!
Our Principles
-
1. Heal the body using the healing power of nature.
As naturopathic practitioners, we stimulate the body’s natural self-healing abilities (Vital Force) using various natural therapies. As Dr A. Vogel said, “whatever the body has produced, it is able to reserve”.
-
2. Treat the cause of the disease, not just the symptoms.
We look deeper into everyone’s health and identify the areas that may cause the problem. We do not suppress the symptoms; we aim to treat the root cause of the disease.
-
3. Educate our patient to be able to take their health in their hands.
Education is a very important tool in your journey. We help our patients better understand what is going on with their health. We provide them with a true knowledge of how to attain and maintain good health and how to avoid dietary, lifestyle and environmental influences that result in disease.
-
4. Treat the whole person, individually.
All aspects of a human being are taken into consideration. Each person is biochemically unique due to variations in blood types, genes, metabolic rates, age, constitution, etc. The answers are unique for each patient; therefore, our treatment approach is individually focused on each patient.
-
5. We promote the importance of ‘prevention’.
Most diseases are clearly linked to diet, lifestyle and the environment. We carefully address these factors to prevent disease, rather than simply react when it has already manifested.
-
6. Do no harm.
Using the least force necessary to diagnose and treat illness we use treatments that minimize the risk of harmful side effects.
“All disease begins in the gut.”
